This Renovation Life

I didn't think we should be looking at the hall and stairs just yet, they're high-traffic areas and we still have lots and lots of odging and bodging to do, lugging bulky tools up and down. But Jim's right when he says the house will feel much less dinge-palace and a bit more come-on-in-and-warm-your-cockles once we've got the front of the property sorted. Also, we do have rear access to the first floor by way of the fire escape to the upstairs flat, so we can still lug stuff around. Well, Jimmy can ;) 

We're not sure what the colour scheme is going to be just yet, but it will need to compliment the original Minton tiles we've got in the hallway, and stand up to temperamental teenage boys and grubby-handed toddlers.
